Walked Stone Mountain trail noticing fallen trees into the waters. We came upon some layered rocks with water drifting through in low falls. It was a beautiful sunny day.
We stopped to admire the water and the sound was soothing to both of us. I saluted the 7 directors and gave thanks and played to honor. The tree spirits were all in and around us and spirits of the mountain. A bird chirped loudly above us high in the trees that we couldn't see. My husband's drumming became soothing to me. I did't play my Didge...I needed to hear that drum...the elk drum of unconditional love we bought in Cherokee and used in so many ceremonies and sound healings. It seemed to coax me as I stopped playing my didgeridoo to be silent. I kept coaxing me to play. I then allowed myself to direct my calm, my peace and my silence for awhile...
Then I picked up the didgeridoo and played...The birds seems to answer at distances to each other. Small finches danced in the waters and hopped on trees. I then was in silence listening to the many nature spirits and God speak to me and storytellers as much as nature spirits. They formed and started speaking giving me messages like a massage to my brain and relief to my heart. That my role was not to be activated and be relied upon like the ancient religious or spiritual books create a dependency of archaic and outdated information for followers who don't make their own choices. You are tired of writing and sharing because you need to rest and not create that same dependency like this holy books from all over the world.
People must awaken to the power of choice and voice from within not by direction outside of ourselves, not by our ancestors and or elders but the truth within that does not feel negative. I heard the stories of the squirrel told to me and its life conceived and birthed inside the womb and cocoon of protection like the butterfly. We all are in cocoons inside the womb of protection and then we enter the outer world and grow and are nurtured. But the catch is you have to leave the nest, the cocoon and the womb to learn to experience and grow. We must be brave now and know ourselves, improve ourselves and not hold onto stagnant protocols, laws, procedures and ways of the culture, spiritual or religious either. We are divine creations that must do our path by being first true to what we are and what we choose in the light to grow in. At this his point a deagin fky cones near me to circle around to make that point since it is the symbol of the power of light.
Another story told of the lights visiting the land healing it, healing the ancestors and spirits to be free and healed in loving light there. The wandering spirits gave thanks.
Another short story of the trees falling into the water. They needed the water for their roots and so passionately thought if they fell into the water nearby that they would thrive a certain way and grow. They died and became as they rotted melded into the water and then were the water. Their roots dry because they didn't think about the possibility of another outcome but had to learn to surrender that they thought it would work out just fine and their roots replenished but that didnt' work out. There are things out of our control and sometimes we risk even our own lives to do it out of passion but have we thought out and asked each other advise on the possibilities of existence. Sometimes, we go along doing something not harmful to self or others in our minds as harmless and then the good intentions didnt' work out. This is humanities test and what do we do together weighing out the abilities to communicate, think and resolve in harmony the probable outcomes. This is a good lesson and can we unite when we need in strength and light that benefits all?
Well, that's all today. I got up from the silence and lessons and gave thanks and said thank you and my husband meditated his journey. As I got up; the owl hooted and it was time to go and then asked my husband to close it up and danced to his drumbeat and thanked all. Then he stopped and got up and the owl clearly hooted. Then we went to our car on the way to see a beautiful blue heron looking and stretching its neck out to us. So nice. Hawks have been flying in the sky so much lately. Messengers of peace, unity, love, resolve, healing and strength to demand what is our right. Much love. Have a great weekend.
